I love to cook. Really, I do.

Sam might not agree that my meals are particularly delicious (he’s more of a meat and three vegetables, and I’m more of a quinoa salad type gal), but when I do have the time to cook, I try and be as experimental as I can.

There is something so good about cooking up a delicious, nutritious and SIMPLE home-cooked meal, and especially so when you know you have enough left overs for work tomorrow too!

However lately, I have been quite time poor – actually both Sam and I have.

We both work full-time jobs, Sam plays football and trains on weeknights, I have a business and side hustle to run, and am also studying part time, so of course, the whole cooking at home thing has gone right down the drainpipe…

Our priorities at the moment have moved from “What delicious delicacy can I cook up tonight” (said whilst looking through a Donna Hay cookbook), to “Can I get away with eating baked beans for the third night in a row..?”. This is simply because of how time poor we both are.

SO, when the opportunity came for me to trial the new Youfoodz winter menu, I literally jumped at the chance.

Youfoodz is literally the answer to all of your prayers for those who are time poor, dislike grocery shopping and cooking, and just want their lunches and dinners to be ready in the space of 5 minutes!

Their pre-prepped and cooked meals are not only delicious, but they actually TASTE like a proper home cooked meal, minus the cleaning up, and preparation time that’s normally involved with cooking.

There are various meal plans available with Youfoodz, all depending on your budget, meal preferences and also what you’re wanting to achieve out of your healthy eating.

Their new winter menu is filled with both heart and stomach warming meals ranging from deluxe lamb shanks, to BBQ chicken wraps, as well as snacks too for with you’re feeling peckish in the office at 3pm.

What I love most about Youfoodz is that they have saved me stress over deciding what to cook, as well as time by allowing me to still eat a healthy meal whist I’m on the run. Now, I’m not saying that I’ll never cook again, but for the time being – this is the best option for me!

If you haven’t already tried them, I strongly recommend you do. Even if it’s just for a couple of weeks, you’ll quickly notice how much more time you have to do things, like eat dessert…

Editors Note- I was not paid to write this blog post. I was invited to try the new Youfoodz menu, loved it and knew that I had to share it with you all!
