Last night I was very lucky enough to be invited to the relaunch of Canberra’s Pink Ink Boutique on Lonsdale Street, Braddon.

Pink Ink is a luxury retail experience where the worlds of ART and DESIGN come together – AND it means we are lucky enough to receive the likes of Max Mara and Ellery, in Canberra!

“Representing brands from across the globe as well as local designers, Pink Ink curate a collection each season that is fashion-forward and stylish. High-end brands hang alongside wardrobe essentials to complete the look and you’ll find Pink’s team of trained stylists will help you create outfits and wardrobes to suit any need, styled for any event” – Pink Ink website.

Last night was a very special evening, as we celebrated the relaunch of the store and its brand, as well as welcomed Canberra’s very own Kellie Hush – Editor of Harpers Bazaar Australia for a Q&A and exclusive evening of fashion, cocktails and styling.

Kellie Hush is one incredible woman. Having lived in Canberra and graduated from the University of Canberra with a Journalism degree in 1995, Kellie made her way into one of the most sought-after jobs in fashion – all with determination and hard work.

This is what I admired about her throughout the interview – that she has never been afraid to work hard in order to achieve her goals. Her drive and determination shines through her beautiful personality, and she was very approachable, allowing us all to have a chat and talk all things Harpers Bazaar.

Kellie spoke about her love for dressing head to toe in designer (her top picks are Prada, Miu Miu and a Burberry trench coat – she owns five!!), as well as her weekend dressed – down style, where she lives in Bassike tees and pants. This lade has effortless style!

Pink Ink’s new branding focuses around providing their clients with an intimate, luxury experience – with the outside facade of the store now being completely closed the the public and blocked out – so you can truly experience an intimate shopping session with the Pink Ink personal stylists. It was evident last night that Pink Ink have developed a large and growing amount of loyal followers and clients, who adore purchasing the lasted in Australian and International brands, which previously you could only ever dream of purchasing in Sydney or Melbourne!

The “It” women of Canberra were all in attendance, and it was fantastic to see such passion for style and powerful, successful women in our Nation’s Capital!
