WHAT I WORE: PLEATED SKIRT & OVERSIZED KNIT

There’s one thing in particular that I love about this time of year, and thats winter fashion.

No matter how cold it gets, and how much I curse myself each morning when there is frost on my car windscreen; I absolutely LOVE this time of year simply because of the vast amount of outfit options we have!

Ask any fashionista and they’ll tell you that they love dressing for winter.

Why? Because it means we actually get to wear the vast range of clothes that we have in our wardrobes.

Well thats my case anyway…

I’ve had both of these items sitting in my wardrobe for a few seasons now. Both I’ve worn only a couple of times, but never paired together. Until now…

This look features a beautifully warm and comfortable Country Road Mohair Rib Knit, which is crafted from a luxurious Italian yarn, spun with mohair and alpaca to create a soft and fluffy feel.

I honestly feel like every woman needs a pleated skirt in their wardrobe. This is such a fun skirt with its pleated shape that falls gracefully down to the ankles.

It’s the ideal skirt for dressing up with a pair of ankle boots or strappy heels, or down with a pair of sneakers for an effortless street style look.

I find that I pair my pleated skirts with either an oversized knit which is semi tucked in, OR with a t-shirt or long sleeved shirt.
