WHAT I WORE: THE BOMBER JACKET

Forgive me for being a little late on the uptake, but I am OBSESSED with bomber jackets.

Ever since I found the perfect khaki green one in Kookai (featured in this post), I’ve been frantically trying to find some other amazing ones before the weather in Canberra well and truly turns bloody freeeeeeezing!

Funnily enough, I purchased this bomber jacket at the beginning of the year in Noosa, QLD where it was about 30°c.

At the time, I was finding it incredibly difficult to visualise how cold it would have to be for me to be able to wear this regularly. Never mind the fact that I actually struggled to try it on because of how sweaty I was at the time!

But alas, Canberra wouldn’t be Canberra if the temperature didn’t drop as soon as Autumn rolled around, hence why I was finally able to pull this beauty out of my wardrobe!

This is the Kookai Nikita Bomber Jacket, which unfortunately is no longer available online, however is modeled off many other similar bomber jackets that I have come across.

It features a casual style with contrast ribbon detailing at the neckline and sleeves, double jet pockets with press stud for closure, as well as a khaki green colour that is actually tasteful and wearable!

In my opinion, bomber jackets look best when they’re paired quite casually. So, for this look I opted to style it with a simple white tee, and a pair of black denim jeans that have a slight flair at the ankle.

Platform flats on the bottom elevate the look and add a touch of edginess to it too.

These Bohemian Traders Mid-Rise Cropped Flare jeans are an absolute DREAM to wear.

They provide plenty of stretch at the top, and just the right amount of flare on the bottom. I’m most definitely envisioning myself wearing these over and over during the cooler months.

Also, don’t even get me started on how comfortable the Bohemian Traders Classic Sing Tee is. All I’ll say is that if you’re looking for a t- shirt that makes you feel like you’re wearing pyjamas – then this one is certainly for you!

Get the look!
