The Strand Arcade is one of my favourite places in Sydney.
In fact, it is one of my most favourite places to do a photoshoot now too!
A few weeks ago I was invited up to Sydney to work with Larsen Jewellery, which is based in the historic Strand Arcade.
I am currently working on a collaboration with them, and in the coming weeks will be sharing with you a few blog posts that focus on the Larsen brand, their offerings, as well as some of their unique experiences for customers.
The Strand Arcade is an absolutely beautiful arcade.
As Sydney’s only shopping arcade, housing a distinctive selection of prestigious Australian designers and unique speciality stores, it remains a majestic beauty in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Sydney’s CBD.
What I especially love about the Arcade is its architectural design and construction.
It’s magnificent cedar staircases at each end of the arcade, are both grand and iconic, and the glass roof is elegant and provides some incredible lighting (making it great for photoshoots on the top level!).
One hundred-and-twenty-five years, two depressions, two World Wars and two major fires later, it really is the heart of modern Sydney’s CBD.
As iconic as this beautiful building is, so is Larsen Jewellery, which is located on the top floor of the arcade.
As I mentioned earlier, I was recently invited up to their Sydney studio to embark on an exciting collaboration. The first being this What I Wore post which features a gorgeous dress featuring the colour of the season – pink!
This is a great evening-wear dress, which features a pleated sleeve, lace scallop detailing and a seperate slip lining.
What I adore most about this dress is its flared, pleated sleeves, which make for such a beautiful statement with the outfit.
AND, when paired with the even more beautiful Larsen Jewellery stacked rings, makes the look seem oh so glamourous.
Layering is no longer just for your clothes, because stackable rings is the latest jewellery trend.
These Larsen Jewellery rings are excellent for stacking on any finger, and by changing them around you can achieve some really beautiful looks.
These rings are ones that I guarantee you will not want to remove from your fingers any time soon!
Get the look!
