WHAT I WORE: DRESSING FOR THREE SEASONS

Canberra is really impressing me at the moment.

The autumn colours are well and truly on show, and the air is relatively warm (touch wood it stays like this for a bit longer).

I love Canberra for many reasons, notably because of it’s size, the community we have here, as well as the many things to see and do. I also love Canberra for it’s seasons, and the fact that we get to experience all four seasons in one year!

With the weather still warm enough to step outside, and the beautiful autumn leaves falling everywhere, I thought I would take this opportunity to shoot an outfit that featured pieces from three seasons, all mixed into one look.

Now, I am an absolute sucker for grey knits this season.

On the weekend when Mum and I travelled up to Sydney, I seriously bought 4 grey knits in all different styles – I am obsessed!

The grey knit featured in this shoot is one of my close favourites. It’s an older style from Witchery, but is oh so warm and cosy – perfect for winter.

It features a high, turtle neckline, ribbed sleeves and a boxy fit, which makes it perfect for pairing with pretty much anything in my wardrobe! It’s the perfect winter knit, which I know will keep me super warm when the cooler weather well and truly arrives.

I paired this knit over the top of a summer style denim skirt, which makes for a great trans-seasonal style look.

What I like most about this skirt is that it has the perfect length for styling with knits, as well as layering other pieces over the top.

The final piece in this three piece seasonal outfit is this gorgeous leopard print faux fur jacket from my favourite designer vintage store, Designer Op Shop.

I spotted this jacket a few weeks ago, and after a few minutes of um-ing and ah-ing over whether or not I would wear it enough, I purchased it – and haven’t looked back since!

It’s the perfect autumn style coat, and hangs so beautifully over this outfit.

Get the look!
