WHAT I WORE – 20’S VIBES

Well hello there.

It’s SO nice to be back here again. Back to doing what I love, and now more than ever with an aim to get this blog up and running full time!

Over the break I had a good three and a half weeks to sit back and take a look at what I achieved in 2016 – and WOW it was a heck of a lot! It was the first full year of blogging on my new platform, and it was the first year that I really started to gain traction and work with some incredible brands.

I received some super exciting media and interview opportunities, and I met and networked with so many incredible people.

This year, I am aiming to do all of this AND MORE. I’m starting by getting a photographer on board, the wonderful Simona Razmoska, who is going to work with me on some What I Wore shoots for 2017 (take a look at her work, she is incredibly talented).

I decided that it was about time I got a photographer to work with me on shoots, as even though I enjoy taking my own photos, I am in no way a photographer, and wouldn’t even know how to crop a photo in Photoshop…

To kick things off, my first What I Wore post this year showcases an absolute GEM of a dress from Australian label, Seed.

I spotted this dress a few months ago before heading away on holidays and thought to myself that if I see this dress on sale on Boxing Day, it’ll be mine.

Sure enough, I spotted it again on Boxing Day and swiftly picked it up and made the purchase.

This IS the sort of dress you could wear to a race day event, engagement party, wedding, 21st and so on and so on.

It’s one of those dresses that when you put it on, there is no fuss – it’s figure hugging in all the right places, but not constricting. It’s the perfect length, and the high neckline makes it perfect for styling with an up-do, and chic pair of drop-down earrings.

This is a dress that makes me feel super feminine, but for this look I decided to pair it with my favourite Lack of Color hat, and costume earrings, to add a touch of edginess to it.

I’m totally feeling a 20’s vibe happening here with this look too, don’t you think?

SO looking forward to connecting with you all a lot more this year and seeing where this crazy world of blogging takes me. Gosh it’s going to be an exciting year, I can feel it!

Get the look!
