I always enjoy a good striped garment.
Stripes are always great for wearing everyday, whether it be for work or play, and are SO easy to just throw on whenever it suits.
I recently stumbled across a couple of striped body-con dresses, which are perfect for wearing to work, as well on weekends.
Whilst I did purchase a few, there is one striped dress that is a particular favourite of mine (and was a bargain at that!)
This Y.A.S dress (which I always pronounce as “yassssss” hehe), is available from ASOS, and was a killer purchase.
It features a funnel neckline, cropped sleeves, as well as a close-cut body con fit.
The multi coloured stripes (which are a stark difference in colour to what I would normally wear, are perfect for this season, and also ideal for pairing with a multitude of accessories which I already have in my wardrobe.
I opted to style this dress with my favourite (and very OTT) fur vest from Seed, which is one of those “oldie but a goodie” items that I have in my wardrobe, and quite often will forget about.
The colours of this vest match perfectly with this dress and add a touch of texture to the look.
I’ve tied the entire outfit together with a plain black pair of booties, and added pop’s of colour with my favourite statement clutch from Designer Op Shop.
This is one of those dresses that I feel I could most definitely get away with wearing in the office, paired with heels, and then wear again on the weekend styled with a pair of hightop sneakers!
