Something amazing happened on the weekend.
Actually; a few amazing things happened on the weekend.
The first being that I met Sally Obermeder – Australian media personality, television presenter, blogger, and all round incredible woman, as well as her sister Maha at an event in Canberra.
Now this event wasn’t one that I was attending, it was one that I was MC’ing!
Yep – thats right, I was an MC at an event with Sally Obermeder! An absolute career highlight right there.
To give you a bit of background, I was invited by the Canberra Centre, to MC their Style Masterclass and interview stylish sister duo, and founders of fashion and lifestyle blog SWIISH, Sally Obermeder and Maha Koraiem.
Sisters Sally Obermeder and Maha Koraiem started their fashion and lifestyle blog, SWIISH, with the desire to inspire a luxe life for less and offer their insider secrets for all things fashion, wellbeing, beauty and family.
From Sally’s career as a TV presenter (she’s currently co-hosting Channel 7’s national news and entertainment show, The Daily Edition) covering topics from fashion to lifestyle, and Maha’s background as a certified health coach with a passion for health and fitness, the girls are a wealth of information and inspiration.
During their exclusive event, SWIISH editors Sally and Maha shed the light on the latest trends for the season, and revealed their top tips for mastering each look at any age.
Let me tell you, they did this – and so much more!
This was an experience like no other for me, and one that I will never forget!
It was absolutely fantastic to be given the opportunity to interview Sally and Maha, and it has truly inspired me to add ‘MC’ to my list of job titles, and things that I can do.
