JEANS & A TEE + WORKING WITH DCE

I’m now officially back at work.

Back at my desk and back to tackling my rising to do list of both things that I love and am very much looking forward to doing, but also just some general life admin things that have to be done (reluctantly might I add!).

Nevertheless, despite the fact that my 2018 didn’t get off to the best start, after a weekend spent on the Darling Downs in Queensland (which I’ll share more about soon), I am definitely feeling A LOT more refreshed and ready to tackle the year ahead.

This week I’ll be spending my first week back at work planning for upcoming projects and getting prepped for what I hope is my best year yet both for my business and personal life.

So, let me start off by sharing with you a project that I am working on this year – the Danielle Cleary Events 2018 Model Host Search.

The DCE Model Host Search is looking for motivated, committed and confident young talent, wanting to gain work experience and connections in the events and modelling industry, and I am very lucky enough to be one of the judges for the competition!

Throughout the competition and judging process, I’ll also be sharing with you a behind the scenes look at how it all works.

The winner of the competition will receive a 12 month mentorship, which will give them ‘on the job’ flexible learning experience and exposure to industry professionals, in a creative and encouraging environment.

HOW TO ENTER:
Email danielle@danielleclearyevents.com & include:

– a short introduction about who you are;
– why you would like to win this experience;
– a short CV; &
– 2 casting photo’s including a head & shoulders & full length image, plus any other photo of your choice (optional).

For more information on the competition, head to the Danielle Cleary Events website!

Also, let’s talk about this outfit I’m wearing.

Can I just say that as simple as it may be, it’s probably one of my most favourites that I’ve shared with you so far.

It’s cool and casual, but it’s also got a touch of grunge with the ripped jeans and oversized tee.

What I really like about this look is it’s one that I’ll generally wear quite often, due to it being both comfortable and easy to throw on.

These high rise Tobi girlfriend jeans are perfect for pairing with just about anything, and their light wash and distressed detail at the knees and ankle make for something a little different to the type of denim that I would normally wear.

Also, since wearing this style of high rise denim, there is no way I’m opting for anything else!

The tee is one that I purchased a few years ago when shopping in London – and is one that I love to wear when I’m wanting to achieve a comfortable, yet classy look – which is why I’ve tied the outfit together with a cute pair of gold pumps (to add a touch of sparkle).

Get the look!
