Let’s get one thing straight – I love wearing a good quality knit in winter.
Living in Canberra means that we experience more colder days than we do warmer days, which means it’s super important for me to have a variety of go-to knits and cardigans that I can wear throughout the coldest of winter days.
I recently teamed up with London based knitwear designer, Adeela Salehjee to showcase her range of knits, which are not only beautiful, but also super warm and versatile too! You can see see my first post featuring one of Adeela’s cardigan’s here.
As I mentioned in my previous post, Adeela Salehjee’s knits feel so damn good! In fact, when you wear one you feel like you’re wearing your dressing gown, but in a slightly shorter, v neck form – it’s faaaaaantastic!
Adeela’s concept behind her designs is to create special, yet timeless pieces that are targeted towards those who have an appreciation for good quality products that are comfortable, elegant and functional.
The Villars Vee Knit is a 100% cashmere v-neck sweater that features a tubular & rib collar. This knit is one of the only v-neck sweaters that actually fits me perfectly, considering I’m not gifted in the chest department!
What I love most about this knit is it’s luxurious ribbed sleeves, as well as the speckled black and grey tones, which also make it easy for styling with the rest of the outfit.
I opted to pair this look with similar coloured garments including a pair of Forcast Coated Jeans which feature a super slim fit and high waist. I’ve been on the hunt for a new pair of coated jeans, so when these one’s popped up – I knew they’d be a perfect addition to my winter wardrobe.
These Holster Nova Hi-Top Sneakers are also super cool and comfortable, and their silver tone makes them easy to pair with a variety of looks.
I opted to complete the look with this Frankie & Co Darcy Fedora, which I love for it’s shape, colour, and old school charm!
Get the look!
