WHAT I WORE: THREE SHADES OF BLUE IN COOMA

Sponsored by Birdsnest

You’ll find me wearing the colour blue a lot.

As in, I probably wear it every second outfit?

Whether it be in denim jean, knit or accessories form, it’s a colour that I definitely wear often; especially in winter!

You all know just how much I love dressing for this time of year.

The weather may be slightly unbearable, but the outfit options are endless – especially when you’re shopping at Birdsnest!

In my previous blog post you would have learnt that Birdsnest, which is based both online and in the country town of Cooma NSW, have an incredible range of womenswear and accessories for every woman – no matter the season.

I recently travelled down to Cooma for the day to learn more about the Birdsnest brand and in store experience, and was lucky enough to shoot a couple of outfits around town too!

You can take a look at my first Birdsnest outfit post here, which featured some gorgeous neutral tonnes and a cute corgi too!

Feel free to click there now to take a look, or you can scroll down and see how I’ve mixed three different shades of blue…

This is an outfit that I would no doubt find myself wearing to a weekend brunch date with friends, or on a trip to a cute country town where the day is filled with endless chai lattes, antiques, and flower shopping.

In this outfit, you’ll find I’m wearing three different shades of blue – the knit, the denim jeans and the shoulder bag.

Up top is my new go-to knit, the JAG Cable Knit in a beautiful baby blue!

Without a doubt an essential this year, this knit is a great weight to keep you warm this season.

Whether it is draped over your shoulders, or layered over tees, this jumper will keep you in style and comfort. You could even pop a collared shirt underneath for a more structured look.

On the bottom you’ll find a super comfortable pair of jeans from ONLY.

What I love most about them is their turned up cuff, which is great for short girls like myself! These jeans feature a mid-low rise, waistband with belt loops and an overall skinny shape.

Paired with sneakers – these jeans will most definitely be a go-to when transitioning from winter to spring in a few months time!

On my feet are a pair of Superga 2750 Classic Sneakers. These sneakers feature an extra strong, fully breathable pure cotton upper, and is a timeless shape trainer.

The lightweight simple canvas features a vulcanised rubber sole, and they are designed in Italy to be really comfortable. A bonus – they are machine washable too!

I’ve tied the look together with a gorgeous and soft LouenHide bag.

LouenHide make fantastic bags that are an ideal companion for a day out. The shoulder strap is detachable as well which means it can also be used as a clutch if you desire.

A big thank you to The Flower Pantry and Courtyard Coffee Shop for letting us shoot in your beautiful space.

Make a stop here before or after your Birdsnest shopping spree for a delicious coffee or cake, and a bunch of beautiful flowers.
